David Wenngren is the man behind the Library Tapes moniker. The re-mastered re-issue of 'Sketches' was our very first release, and was met with critical acclaim. This was the beginning of our long relationship with David, as well as the cellist on that album, a certain Danny Norbury. He also made 'Fires' for Home Normal with Danny under their Le Lendemain guise, a reworking for Ian Hawgood's 'Slow Films In Low Light', and with Christopher Bissonnette we released 'The Meridians Of Longitude And Parallels Of Latitude' in 2011.
2014 will be the tenth aniversary of Library Tapes and we plan some special events to tie this in with our own fifth anniversary as well.

Under his given name, David Wenngren has released two solo albums to date, as well as two collaborations. The first of his solo releases came out on his own Auetic imprint in 2009 called 'Sleepless Nights'. In February 2013 he released the digital only 'Les Revenants'. In collaboration with Christopher Bissonnette he released 'The Meridians Of Longitude And Parallels Of Latitude' in 2011 on Home Normal. He followed this up in 2012 with the release 'Strangers', with Kane Ikin on Kesh.
